Le Fourneau d'Alain sur Pont-A-Mousson

Discovered this restaurant for Mother's Day. The special menu included a choice of 3 starters, 3 main courses, and 2 desserts. The plates were presented with elegance and generosity 🤩 but it was the food itself that was truly delicious, cooked to perfection 😋 As for the service, it was impeccable despite the restaurant being full 👏 My only regret is not having gone sooner 🤷‍♀️

This is a place we discovered in June 2024, but what a pleasant surprise to find the same quality and freshness of the food for our Easter Sunday meal! Good food, good wine, and not forgetting the smiles and kindness. I highly recommend it! 👍😃

I had dinner at this restaurant and I must say everything was perfect! I chose the set menu, and I wasn't disappointed. The appetizer was a real treat, bursting with flavor, followed by a main course that delighted my taste buds. Every bite was a true delight! However, my joy was somewhat dampened by the dessert. When the dessert sampler arrived, with its panna cotta, strawberry mousse, and coffee cream… I was a little surprised. Being winter, I wasn't expecting this type of light and fruity dessert at all. Unfortunately, I didn't take the time to ask what was in it, and I was disappointed to discover that each petit four didn't suit my tastes at all. So I ended up leaving my entire dessert for my partner, which really frustrated me to leave without having been able to enjoy a sweet ending to the meal. This will teach me to always ask what's in the dessert! However, I highly recommend this restaurant, which I consider one of the best in the area.
