A very friendly welcome; despite our late arrival, we were served quickly. The portions were generous and the meal was very good.

We were looking for a restaurant when we spotted the sign by the roadside. So we went up to ask if they could still accommodate us, knowing it was already 1:30 pm. We were warmly welcomed with smiles and great kindness. We were also greeted by the dog, large and rather imposing at first glance, but absolutely adorable. Contrary to what I had read in some reviews, he did indeed come to our table initially, then calmly let us eat without bothering us or begging for anything. 🐶 As for the service, the very tempting menu was presented on a chalkboard, and our host kindly explained the different dishes to us. We ultimately chose the daily special and the Korean-style chicken. We hadn't even finished half of our aperitif before the service had already begun. It was therefore quite quick, contrary to what I had also read in some reviews. Let's be honest: if the goal is to eat in ten minutes, you might as well go to McDonald's! 😄 A good meal, a beautiful presentation, and homemade food, even simple, inevitably take a little time. And speaking of the food: both dishes were perfect, generous, and delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the gratin and ratatouille were excellent. Homemade, and we know how to appreciate that! The setting is also very pleasant, attractive, and calm. It's a place where you can take your time eating, chatting, and enjoying the moment, without any stress. As for the prices, they are clearly displayed and quite reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. We paid much more during our vacation for significantly lower quality, sometimes with simply reheated frozen food. Therefore, I find some of the criticisms rather unfair, even sometimes disingenuous. The prices are clearly displayed, the portions are generous, and the staff are genuinely very pleasant. We felt a real desire to welcome us and take care of us, without being constantly bothered or overwhelmed, as can unfortunately happen elsewhere. The children's menus are also clearly detailed, with prices listed. When you want to be negative, you can always find something to complain about. But when a real problem arises, I find it much more constructive to discuss it directly on-site. Of course, this can happen: nobody's perfect, and there's always an explanation or a solution. However, immediately posting a very negative review without giving the restaurant owner a chance to explain can sometimes be very damaging. It's important to remember that restaurant owners are struggling to keep their businesses afloat these days. And here, we saw a real effort to welcome and serve customers in the best possible conditions. In fact, shortly before we left, they were still welcoming three people who arrived for lunch even though it was well past 2:30 pm. Some establishments would have simply refused. Here, they took the time to welcome and serve them. That's what hospitality and service are all about. In short, we highly recommend this place and we will gladly return when we are in the area again. Thank you for your welcome, your kindness, and the lovely time we spent at your establishment. 😊 And we're sorry about your dog. I read that she was unfortunately quite unwell. We wish her much strength and hope she recovers quickly. ❤️🐶

It was a wonderful evening full of surprises. The place was truly special – not for snobs, but for people who simply want to eat well and enjoy themselves. The owners are incredibly friendly and excellent cooks. The food was delicious and sophisticated. We highly recommend the menu. It was a magical moment that we will remember forever.

The food is truly delicious, the dishes are excellent and prepared with care. 😋 The owners and the waitress are lovely, very kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A typical place that easily takes you back 30 years, far from unpleasant, quite the opposite, very friendly staff, fairly quick service, and delicious food ☺️ However, new customers, don't be surprised by the dog, who can be intimidating, but is used to people and responsive to his owners.

Giving an opinion is like suggesting to others, "Go... or not!" And that's a bit difficult. The initial contact was very friendly, the service quick. But... My dish was reheated, the bill was higher than the prices displayed, and you shouldn't be offended by the burly man who greets you, all smiles. I'm sorry, but at a time when many people are on a tight budget, professionals need to be vigilant. Simplicity doesn't mean "cafeteria," and not everything is acceptable just because you're friendly.

A beautiful and unique restaurant in the countryside. The menu is incredibly tempting! The food is a 10/10, a real treat! For someone who enjoys a good meal, the portions are very generous.
