While passing through downtown Angers, I stopped at Le Fournil du Pilori to buy some bread. 🥖😊 The bread was delicious, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. A pleasant visit; I highly recommend it! ✨

The best sandwich deal in town: €8 for a sandwich on great bread, plus dessert (tried the speculoos eclair) and a drink Really excellent value for the quality, and the owner was so sweet! Would easily cost double where I live, I miss this boulangerie

18/07/2026: Having been regulars at the restaurant for some time now, we went to Burgers de Papa to satisfy an early evening craving and were welcomed—or rather, treated—by the best employee ever (Achille). He agreed to serve us a burger that was no longer on the menu (breaded chicken, jalapeños, and hot sauce) and offered us desserts. I ordered fries with melted cheddar cheese, which were perfectly cooked. The vanilla milkshake (not pictured) was also very good. Please give this man a bonus! I will definitely be back! PS: This review was written entirely spontaneously by the restaurant and the employee in question, as I simply wanted to highlight the excellent service we received.
13/06/2026: This Saturday, the four of us came and had a great time. The waiter behind the counter was very friendly and gave us good advice! The music was fantastic, a real pleasure.

23/06/2025: This restaurant perfectly combines the pleasures of taste and sight. From the dishes to the decor, it's a feast for the eyes and the palate. A true gem. Moreover, the owner's welcome is warm and it's a pleasure to chat with such friendly people. And to top it all off, when it's time to leave, the "pain" has never been so aptly named, as the bill is surprisingly light.
