We had a lovely evening at Le France, the team is adorable, we had a great time and were pampered with the bonus of the view, nothing to complain about.

Despite the poor rating, we still ate well, for a reasonable price with 3 children, quantity could be improved on the plus side but the product was fresh and good.

On a sunny Sunday stroll in Le Grau, I was craving a pot of mussels by the canal. The place was welcoming and the staff friendly, but the mussels were a disappointment. The pot was generous, but they had been open for a long time, were overcooked and dry, all shriveled up, with just a dripping amount of sauce on top. It's a shame they weren't freshly cooked mussels with a bit more sauce for a more satisfying meal. (To be fair to the establishment, the "freshly cooked mussels" label wasn't displayed, so it wasn't false advertising). Otherwise, the other dishes served at the neighboring tables looked appetizing; we guess we made the wrong choice from the menu...

A little disappointed with the food and cocktails. I hope it's just due to the pre-season setup. However, the staff are very friendly.

Disappointed by the food. I ordered the seafood salad suggested by the waiter, but the marinated octopus was tasteless, the prawns weren't gutted, and the salad was rather bland. My son ordered a hamburger without onions, but it was served with large onions and a Roquefort sauce that was disappointing. It tasted more like flour than Roquefort cheese and was very grainy. In short, a tourist trap. What a shame!

Despite the somewhat mixed reviews, we won't be so harsh. The welcome was friendly and the service quick. I ordered a bull steak that was cooked exactly as I wanted it; some might have cried foul because, yes, I had a bit of a twinge, but given the size of the steak, it didn't bother me. So, a little leniency, please.

A pleasant surprise, and the only ones to serve us at 3 pm, so we stopped by pure chance 👍 I don't understand the low rating of 3? The mussels and the grilled cuttlefish were delicious.

08/10/2025: We came today, August 15th, in the evening, for 7 people. Reservations are not possible at this establishment, which I don't really understand, but oh well. We arrived at 7:00 p.m. And then we were turned away, even though there were unoccupied tables. A bit of a rant, but the owner tried to sort things out and quickly found a solution. So I won't dwell on the negative side of this establishment. In terms of food, it's a brasserie, not a restaurant, so you shouldn't expect gourmet cuisine, but good food. The service was fast despite the crowds on this day of fireworks and a public holiday. Just a small note about one dish: the sea bream fillet I ate was over-seasoned with olive oil, but otherwise very good. The portion of fries is limited for each side dish. But no big deal, the next meal will surely be better. The staff is top-notch, responsive, and efficient. See you soon, maybe 🙃
28/09/2025: Very good mussel restaurant with delicious sauces. Impeccable, friendly and fast service. A good address on the market square for Sundays.

16/01/2025: What can I say, other than I hope I came across the wrong time or the wrong person. The waiter comes to us and says “yes? » a little surprised we say hello to him and ask him if we can have a drink with 3 people and he tells us no and that it is obvious that his bar is full at that time... meh as an answer, I think that we are doing better in terms of customer service. I live in the neighborhood and wanted to invite 2 colleagues for a drink at the end of the day. We probably won't come back to this bar next time. I would do another test just to be sure next time but I have little hope.
