For a first visit, the welcome and service were very good. The home-style cooking was perfect: fair prices, no complaints. You have to come once to want to come back.
We went for a weekend to Châteauneuf-de-Galaure, and Le Galet d'Or is located in the next village. It's a very good family-run restaurant; the menu isn't huge, so the ingredients are fresh. My only slight complaint is that the terrace is right next to the road. If you happen to be in the area, you can stop there for a nice meal.
A truly exceptional restaurant. Beyond the warm welcome, there's a chef who works with authentic local ingredients. From appetizer to dessert, everything is remarkable, and the desserts in particular are exceptionally well-crafted, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. You can go there without hesitation; we'll be back very soon. Thank you to the entire team!
We had excellent frog legs with homemade dauphinoise potatoes. My husband had a flank steak with homemade fries and salad; he found it excellent, as well as the desserts. I recommend this restaurant; the owner and the waiter are very welcoming.
