Le Galion sur Etretat

A perfect family evening in a beautiful room, with pleasant and high-quality service and refined "homemade" cuisine made with good ingredients! A gourmet children's menu with delicious products ;) Thank you for this wonderful evening; both young and old were delighted.

We received a very warm welcome from a lady who managed a full restaurant perfectly without making us wait. The service was quick and excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a wonderful evening at Le Galion, which is a truly excellent restaurant. No need to queue at 6:30 pm like at most restaurants in Étretat. The service was top-notch and the welcome very friendly. The menu was varied and of high quality. We went back for our second dinner! 🤩

A lovely weekend getaway with the girls! And we discovered Gallon, right below our Airbnb... what a great find! Delicious food, amazing spritzes, and a fantastic owner! So even though we looked for somewhere else, we ended up going there three times... each time the dishes won us over, and the salted caramel crepe was to die for! We'll definitely be back.

Excellent service and a smile! We had mussels with Roquefort cheese and a very generous portion of Norman tartiflette, and above all, it was delicious. Yes, we'll be back!

A delicious meal of two fish dishes with vegetables and homemade apple tart – it was excellent, I highly recommend it.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Average tourist food at an acceptable price for this beautiful but completely overcrowded place. The two of us paid €67 for three dishes at lunchtime, including wine and cider. We had nine oysters, which were okay but not entirely fresh and not served on ice; a tasty fish soup with side dishes (commercial supermarket quality); and mussels with a small bowl of soggy, greasy fries. The mussels were supposed to be with Roquefort cheese but were served with a flour-based sauce. I think that was a mistake. We then received a new portion with a cheese sauce, which was probably not Roquefort but rather much cheaper Gorgonzola. Everything tasted good, and we weren't dissatisfied, but it wasn't anything special.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. We had crêpes and a cheese platter. Very, very delicious. And friendly service. The restrooms were also clean.

Nice restaurant in the pedestrian zone, but not directly on the promenade. The mussels and fries were delicious and plentiful. The price was okay.
