Very welcoming and friendly to 4 Brits passing through, after closing time the owner even brought us free drinks whilst we were waiting for a takeaway across the road! Best night of a 3 night trip. Would definitely go back, recommended. The Blonde lager on tap is very nice!

La Giunguette des Tanneries

19/08/2026: A very pleasant atmosphere along the Sarthe river. The misting systems are much appreciated during this heatwave. Quick service today, no complaints.
17/08/2026: We had a wonderful time in Saumur, overlooking the castle. The aperitif and tapas were delightful.
