Le Gambetta sur Honfleur

We used to come to this restaurant regularly and enjoyed it very much, but unfortunately, our last visit was very disappointing. The quality seems to have declined. The wait between the main course and dessert was particularly long, even though the restaurant wasn't crowded. The fireplace always creates a pleasant atmosphere, which is a real plus. However, this is unfortunately spoiled by a strong smell of burnt grease and fried food that overwhelms the palate and makes the atmosphere less enjoyable. We also ordered the daily special, a Camembert burger, and unfortunately, we both got sick after the meal, which definitely marred the experience. It's all the more disappointing because we used to come here regularly and had always had a good impression of the establishment. This last experience really let us down.

We were looking for a quiet place to have dinner with a fireplace, and that's exactly what we found! The meal was delicious and the atmosphere cozy; a very pleasant experience. Thank you.

Great meal, the Normandy burgers were delicious, lovely decor, and the owner and her son were very pleasant. All the best!

Small restaurant, accessible to all, a little expensive compared to the quantity, the mussel cream is tasteless, the roasted camembert is a child's portion and the vanilla scoop is full of ice crystals.

Good value for money; we had the €35 set menu. The place is cozy; I recommend booking in advance.

Delicious food, friendly and efficient service! It's worth walking a few meters to the restaurant rather than eating at the Vieux Bassin! We returned after two years, this time outside of peak season. The menu is smaller, but filled with exceptional French dishes, and the interior is very cozy with an open fireplace. The food was superb and the service very friendly. We look forward to our next visit!
