Le Gambetta sur Honfleur

A delight from start to finish. The skate wing was excellent, served with fresh, well-prepared vegetables. The tuna tartare was incredible; it melted in your mouth and was perfectly seasoned. The dessert of the day—strawberries, cream, and crumble—was very flavorful, and the crème brûlée was expertly made. The restaurant was quiet, and the waitress was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I would highly recommend it.

Some of the food bland, lacking seasoning. Charming restaurant, however was irritating when the music was interrupted by message notifications on whoever's phone was connected to the system.

Loved this little restaurant. Great ambiance, friendly staff, unpretentious but delicious food. I had seafood & it was fresh and tasty. Very accommodating with my gluten free diet. I’d definitely recommend it.

The food was delicious. The prawns as a starter, the entrecôte and skate as main courses, and the crème brûlée and tarte tartin for dessert were all superb.

We used to come to this restaurant regularly and enjoyed it very much, but unfortunately, our last visit was very disappointing. The quality seems to have declined. The wait between the main course and dessert was particularly long, even though the restaurant wasn't crowded. The fireplace always creates a pleasant atmosphere, which is a real plus. However, this is unfortunately spoiled by a strong smell of burnt grease and fried food that overwhelms the palate and makes the atmosphere less enjoyable. We also ordered the daily special, a Camembert burger, and unfortunately, we both got sick after the meal, which definitely marred the experience. It's all the more disappointing because we used to come here regularly and had always had a good impression of the establishment. This last experience really let us down.

We were looking for a quiet place to have dinner with a fireplace, and that's exactly what we found! The meal was delicious and the atmosphere cozy; a very pleasant experience. Thank you.

Small restaurant, accessible to all, a little expensive compared to the quantity, the mussel cream is tasteless, the roasted camembert is a child's portion and the vanilla scoop is full of ice crystals.

Great meal, the Normandy burgers were delicious, lovely decor, and the owner and her son were very pleasant. All the best!

Good value for money; we had the €35 set menu. The place is cozy; I recommend booking in advance.
