Le Gandhara sur Vendome

04/08/2026: A perfect French experience. And an affordable one right in the middle of Paris in the old quaint Latin quarter neighbourhoods. The menu is very short and well curated. They serve their specialty and make seasonal meals. They change their menu but keep it standard still. If you are in Paris for a trip or live here, either way, a great place to stop by for lunch/dinner. It is a family run business so expect the French courtesy. The service was fast, server was polite. Enough space for a romantic dinner and also an after work soirée. As for the tourists, just to get an idea of what they serve, their entree is a salad with salmon bites with a perfect amount of mayo drip. For summers this is a perfect light starting. They also have terrine triangles which are a bit denser entree bites paired perfectly with bread. For main course they have succulent skewers and juicy perfectly grilled vegetables on the side. The meat is good quality so you won’t be disappointed. And finally for dessert you have the very famous creme brûlée. Personally I wasn’t greatly pleased with this item but this is the only thing I thought they could make better. They have a great citation of cheese so if you want to go for the best option you go for cheese of the day. And finish of your meal with a cafe!
