31/05/2026: Despite the rather unusual setting in the town of Vendôme, the wait was far too long for Mother's Day. While it was certainly busy, the meal stretched from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm. The wait between courses was excessive. The starter (puff pastries with snails) was the highlight of the meal. The main course, a duck breast Rossini, was delicious in name only. The whole dish lacked character and flavor. Dessert was a classic, no-frills affair: vanilla ice cream with whipped cream. The waitresses did their job very well and were professional. They really need to improve the timing between courses (the kitchen-dining room communication). For example, orders could have been taken when the amuse-bouches were served.

30/05/2026: Disappointed because the service was very slow; it took an hour and a half for the main course to arrive, and those who didn't order a starter waited two hours. A shame. The problem needs to be investigated.

27/05/2026: On a business trip to Vendôme, I met up with my colleagues at La Comédie and made a wonderful discovery. A brasserie just the way we like them. The welcome, the attentive staff, the smiles—it's all quite rare these days, so I thought I'd share it. When are you opening a similar one in Tours?
