A Diamond in the French Basque Country, is a restaurant with signature cuisine where regional and seasonal products predominate. A spectacle for the palate that I recommend you visit. They have different types of menus that adapt to each diner. Everything is delicious, exquisite and its presentation is an art. I ordered a Gin with Jamaican flower which was delicious. For starters I had a succulent and divine onion soup but to my surprise it was served in a different way that I loved dearly. There were several dishes that were all divine and that is why I am sharing them with you… if you come to these parts you should know it.
It's been a year since I returned to Gantxo but I have a 40 minute drive. So I invited some friends to accompany me and frankly still as good. Special mention for the egg in meurette. We had a wonderful time.
We loved everything. A quiet place but not stuffy. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Quality dishes with local products. And to finish in style, the arrival of the chef himself to greet his guests.

First “gift” meal taken in this restaurant. The staff takes great care, the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The places are quiet, and the small family room. As for the cuisine, there are few superlatives to describe its taste and quality, everything is TOP from the "soup" or starter, to the dessert. The dishes are perfect and beautiful, well done to the chef!, but he is greatly helped in this by the owner's knowledge of the marriage of flavors. A duo who knows where they are going.... hats off. The price is consistent with the service offered.
