Le Gaudissart sur Barcelonnette

I loved the food, the service, and the welcome.

It's certainly expensive, but it's excellent and homemade! The €25 menu includes a starter, main course, and dessert, all homemade and generous portions – frankly, nothing to complain about.

I recommend the duck breast, it's delicious. And coffee on the sunny terrace is a real treat.

A truly exceptional restaurant ;) We were welcomed and served like royalty. The entire team was incredibly attentive, even though the restaurant was full. We arrived just before the 7 pm service during the Dia de Los Muertos celebrations. After trying about ten other restaurants and being met with a very cold reception or even turned away simply because we wanted to have a drink and share a charcuterie board with friends... and not just eat in the restaurant, the team was incredibly attentive. Brasserie Le Gaudissard remains the place I recommend if you want to be treated well and share a wonderful moment with friends or family, where the team is incredibly attentive despite the busy start of service. A wonderful welcome, fresh and well-prepared produce. And of course, a fantastic raclette for those with a sweet tooth!

Finally a regional salad worthy of the name!

We ate well but the service was very limited with young people in a hurry to leave the service so everything was rushed, which is a shame because the chef is quite good as the meal was really good.

Very good and authentic cuisine, beautifully presented. It's a shame that the arrogance and lack of respect from the waiters somewhat spoiled the desire to return...
