After several attempts at the Gaulois restaurant, it's becoming increasingly disappointing. The daily specials are lacking in variety and flavor, and the same goes for the desserts.
But the worst part is how cold it is; we had to eat in our down jackets. When I mentioned this to the owner, she became defensive, saying the restaurant was heated. This restaurant was impeccable a few years ago, but those days are gone. It's clear that the customer is no longer their priority. As for us, we won't be back anytime soon, which is a real shame.

The portions were very generous and the food was delicious. The decor is lovely with its soft lighting and stone walls (though perhaps it could use a little more light?). The service varies depending on the staff; some are very friendly, others less so.

I recommend trying this place. Excellent value, quality, and quantity. It's best to reserve a table, otherwise you risk not finding a spot. Parking during rush hour is difficult. Friendly and fast staff.

The cold buffet was of good quality with a wide selection; I ordered a vol-au-vent which wasn't hot enough, however the side dishes were at the right temperature and plentiful, and the service was pleasant and efficient.

Company meal with over 20 people.
Receptionist: friendly.
Waitress: smiling, professional, and very efficient.
Chef: excellent dishes, meeting everyone's expectations. Everyone loved it!
Waitress: not pleasant or smiling.
We will return with colleagues, friends, and family. Excellent time!

We arrived at Le Gaulois with a reservation for two. Our table was located next to the stairs leading to the restrooms, which was inconvenient, but oh well... The food was decent value for money, although my pork ribs were undeservedly overcooked. At the start of the service, we ordered aperitifs and main courses. The waitress also asked if I wanted wine, and I told her I'd check. After that, no one else came to us for the rest of our stay. I went to the bar to order another aperitif, but it never arrived. Our main courses arrived without a single question about what we wanted to drink with them, so we ended up eating with half a liter of water! Frankly, the service wasn't up to par for such a busy place!
