This is a restaurant! Homemade products, a rare find, very rare indeed, quality meat – you can immediately tell this isn't some cheap, local bargain! In short, if you want to eat well at a reasonable price, you have to go there!

We had a reservation for table 67 at 8 pm on February 14th. I'm specifying the table because we were in the middle row. Despite a good main course, we waited 45 minutes before anyone bothered to ask if we wanted dessert. Then, all of a sudden (to our great surprise!), someone asked us if everything was alright... I clearly told her we were leaving; we were being ignored because the tables behind and in front of us were getting dessert! It's frankly outrageous! She simply replied that she only handled the desserts in the kitchen. Anyway, we did order dessert, but it will be our last visit to this establishment! All this for a total of €95. Our patience has its limits...

Filet mignon with morel sauce: the sauce was tasteless, almost like water with added veal stock. The veal tasted boiled. €34 per person; I could do better.

After several attempts at the Gaulois restaurant, it's becoming increasingly disappointing. The daily specials are lacking in variety and flavor, and the same goes for the desserts.
But the worst part is how cold it is; we had to eat in our down jackets. When I mentioned this to the owner, she became defensive, saying the restaurant was heated. This restaurant was impeccable a few years ago, but those days are gone. It's clear that the customer is no longer their priority. As for us, we won't be back anytime soon, which is a real shame.
