We just had a wonderful breakfast on the terrace for €9. The set menu was complete and high-quality: delicious freshly squeezed orange juice, a choice of Dammann Frères tea, a croissant or a pain au chocolat, and generous slices of bread with butter and jam. The service also deserves a mention. The waiter was particularly pleasant, smiling, and very attentive to his customers' well-being, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A great place to start the day. We will definitely return and highly recommend it!

Absolutely no clue why there are so many negative reviews. The service and standard of the ice cream sundaes was brilliant, would highly recommend for a drink and a coupe du glace!

Excellent welcome 👍. Corsicans are truly good shopkeepers. We hope tourists appreciate them. We appreciate the location of the place with ice cream that lives up to our expectations. Great find!

For a break in the historic center of Portovecchio, I recommend this gelateria. The staff are friendly and speak perfect Italian. The gelato is very good and large, and the prices are reasonable. You can admire the square with its carousel and the hustle and bustle of people. I highly recommend it.

29/07/2026: Delicious food and generous portions! A set menu is available (entrée + main course or main course + dessert) at more than reasonable prices for Corsica (24 euros). A small gaffe in the order of the courses (they served the main course immediately), but that didn't stop us from enjoying the dishes and the evening. Very fast service. The terrace is lovely, the only downside being the MOSQUITOES! Highly recommended.
28/07/2026: A magnificent view of the port, delicious Corsican dishes. One minor complaint about the Corsican burger; I don't think the bread was homemade or locally sourced... Excellent service and welcome, thank you!!

28/07/2026: Very good sandwiches, ideal location, friendly service. If we get back to Porto-Vechio we surely stop by for some bites.
27/07/2026: The menu offers a welcome change from pasta, pizza, and meat and fish dishes. You can create your own salad from a wide variety of ingredients, and the three of us thoroughly enjoyed the result. However, the system requires a bit of explanation for tourists who aren't fluent in French. We would have appreciated a little more assistance from the staff, and it seemed other guests felt the same way when reading the menu. The service was friendly nonetheless, just a touch too reserved; a little more proactivity might also help attract more undecided customers, as we were practically the only ones there that evening. In short: a delicious and satisfying alternative for a guilt-free meal after days of pizza and pasta. The price, however, is quite steep for a salad. I had hoped for about €5 less per plate, considering the cost of our salad creations.
