The ice cream was excellent and served in generous portions. We warmly thank the person who served us, which allowed us to enjoy our dessert after a bad experience at the restaurant across the street.

07/07/2026: The fish dish was the suggested dish for the day. It was buttery, it was light it was absolutely amazing. The scallops paired nicely with the edamame or peas and over all the food was sensational. The restaurant had great views.
03/07/2026: The location is excellent with a beautiful view, a lovely aperitif menu, and the service on the first floor by the young woman is professional and very pleasant, the two gentlemen less so! The amuse-bouche was a success and a welcome addition, the carrot starter was very good… however, I was very disappointed with the main course, which was generously portioned but lacked subtlety of flavor – a good old-fashioned cafeteria dish, what a shame! I won't let this one small negative point deter me; I'll return to try another dish.

04/03/2026: 4th stay at the Donjon some regrets (see rooms)
04/03/2026: The place is still as welcoming and intimate as ever. I don't know if it was a one-off problem in the kitchen, but 3 hours for a 5-course dinner, excluding aperitifs, slightly diminishes the enjoyment of the meal.
