Le Goxoki sur Bayonne

A very good restaurant with very tasty and quite original dishes. The presentation was impeccable. However, I regret the lack of attention paid to my comfort. In a nearly empty restaurant, while I was alone along the main wall, they surrounded me with two families with children, concentrating three of the four occupied tables in the same area. While the restaurant isn't responsible for the lack of manners of the children seated around me, a more balanced distribution of seating throughout the space would have been appreciated. This is also something one looks for in a Michelin-recommended restaurant.

The set menu was €49, the dining room was warm, and the decor was nice. The tuna was stringy with a lot of white meat, and the tomato wasn't ripe, which was a shame. The green herbs on two of my dishes left an earthy taste in my mouth. (Watercress? Maybe.) The sole and the desserts were perfect, and the service was really good and quick.

Menu in English, we chose the Goxoki menu: Appertizer and three delicious dishes for 49 €. The wine list is quite large, but only two rose wines. Chose By Ott. Very nice Provence rose. Could live up to the food. Super sweet and efficient service, all of whom spoke fluent English.

The ingredients are of very high quality, and the dishes are refined, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The value for money is truly impressive; a wonderful place to enjoy a delightful gastronomic experience. Congratulations to the chef and his entire team. I'm already looking forward to another visit to Bayonne.

A truly wonderful time at this restaurant. The food was excellent, right down to the dessert. The amuse-bouche was original and delicious too. Go without hesitation; the ingredients are superb. The service was impeccable and uncomplicated, and the owners were charming. In short, go for it!
