For two years in a row, my sweetheart surprised me by booking a table at this restaurant for my birthday. The food was delicious and refined, the staff were incredibly attentive and kept me completely in the loop (cake with a candle, bouquet of flowers, best table), and the view of the beach and sunset was magnificent. Thank you so much! Go without hesitation, you won't be disappointed!

A pleasant restaurant with a lovely dining room and beautiful terrace, and a very welcoming and friendly service. However, we were disappointed by the food we were served: the side dishes and desserts were good, but the fish was far too overcooked and therefore rubbery. A shame.

The food was very good, however, it was very unpleasant to have the waitress next to us constantly correcting Nathan and speaking rudely to him. This could be handled internally and would be much more appropriate. It's a shame for Nathan, who is trying his best...

Everything was perfect, from the food to the service. The setting is lovely; we had lunch inside with a sea view. The terrace wasn't open yet. I recommend it.

We have eaten at this restaurant twice. It is beautifully situated on the boulevard of Châtelaillon-Plage; but more importantly: the food here is excellent for a reasonable price! 3 courses for 39 euros. No unimaginative plates, but colorful dishes according to the season and region. Quiet and correct service and a beautifully maintained restaurant.

Excellent restaurant. Superb service, they are very friendly. If you want to be sure of your choice, order the duck and a shrimp salad, followed by salted caramel ice cream with caramel pieces...

We had the pleasure of dining at Le Grain de Sable in Chatelaillon. The cuisine is excellent; all the ingredients on the plate are high-quality and well-thought-out, guaranteeing an explosion of flavors. Furthermore, the location is ideal, and the servers are very attentive and pleasant. 🙂 We will definitely return to this lovely restaurant.

24/05/2026: We wanted to express our sincere gratitude for our stay at the Hôtel Majestic in Châtelaillon, room 17. This family-run hotel boasts beautiful architecture and a particularly appealing old-world charm. The entire property is impeccably maintained, making for a very pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious and feature excellent, firm, and very comfortable beds. As for the welcome… it was simply outstanding. We were greeted by Candice, an extremely welcoming, pleasant, and smiling young woman. She looked after us for three days, always with great professionalism and kindness. Her advice on visiting the region was invaluable, precise, and perfectly explained. She speaks about Châtelaillon with enthusiasm and elegance, beautifully showcasing this charming town. Her speech is fluid, natural, and a pleasure to listen to. Candice truly possesses all the qualities needed to welcome guests in the best possible conditions. In addition to being clear and highly professional, she possesses a subtle and understated sense of humor that makes interactions particularly pleasant and warm. We sincerely wanted to give her a special mention. We also wanted to mention the hotel owners, a discreet yet deeply pleasant couple. The lady of the house possesses a gentleness and delicacy imbued with an elegance reminiscent of the Land of the Rising Sun. Her natural smile and kindness lend the establishment a particularly soothing and welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was varied, generous, and made with fresh products. During dinner, the attention to detail was always evident. The dishes were delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients, some with a delicate touch of exoticism that was much appreciated. The plates were presented with refinement, adding an extra touch of pleasure to each meal. What more can we say… if we return to the region, we will gladly stay at this hotel again. Thanks again to the whole team for this wonderful stay.
