Still as good as ever. We thoroughly enjoyed the parillada. Our waiter Gil, whom we've known for years, provides top-notch food and service. Highly recommended.

For the past 10 years, whenever we go on holiday to the South of France, we've gone to this place and it's always good. However, in the last two years, the portions have gotten smaller and smaller 😗 The staff is fantastic

Well-located restaurant on the Sète waterfront. Friendly, if somewhat gruff, staff – that's typical southern French charm ;). Delicious oysters. High-quality, tasty dishes. Beautifully presented. Very reasonable prices. I recommend it.

A very good restaurant with excellent offerings and a really inexpensive menu for the area, especially compared to others. The €21.90 set menu includes a starter, main course, and dessert, allowing you to try Sète specialties like tielle (a savory pie), stuffed mussels, stuffed squid, or monkfish bourride. I've been three times now and haven't been disappointed. It's worth trying to form your own opinion, but the price alone makes it a no-brainer.

A very warm welcome and a restaurant where the rest of the staff are truly top-notch: smiling, pleasant, and attentive. 😊 A minor drawback concerns one waitress, Anna, whose welcome and attitude were much less friendly. She rarely smiled and gave the impression that she unfortunately didn't really want to be there. In a customer-facing profession, a smile and friendliness are essential. Perhaps she was simply having an off day, but if she doesn't enjoy this job, perhaps she should consider retraining... Hence my two stars for the atmosphere. It's a shame, because the rest of the team is truly wonderful and deserves to be highlighted. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

28/09/2026: Note: Dinner service starts at 7 pm, so keep that in mind if you plan to arrive earlier. We had dinner here last night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience: the welcome was very warm, the location is superb, and the view of the river was truly lovely. We started with a drink. Nothing special to say about the beer, but my Aperol Spritz was less than convincing: it tasted more like fruit juice than a proper Spritz. That said, ordering an Aperol in France might not have been my brightest idea. 😄 On the other hand, the food was truly delightful. We opted for the starter and main course. The starters were very good, but the main courses far exceeded our expectations. The mussels with Roquefort cheese were excellent. I had the tuna steak with rice—absolutely delicious, probably the highlight of the entire meal. Given the quality of the food, the price is entirely justified, and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. I highly recommend this place.
