Overall, it was nice. Food was good. Traditional food was good too. We enjoyed “La Porte du Soleil” the best out of all three salads. The Melon salad was good too. “Soupe à l'oignon gratinée au Comté” was really good. We enjoyed the cheese. Vine was good. The boeuf steak was too chewy. We asked to make it well done. They did. The service was great. They were so polite.

It's a shame, we sat outside for breakfast: after 25 minutes no one came to see us. Admittedly, there was a table of ten to serve, and another of two waiting. The waitress was overwhelmed, I understand, just tell us, "I'll be right back, I'll finish with this table."

Passing through Fontainebleau, what a wonderful discovery! Excellent food (meat and pasta), a great atmosphere, and also... a fantastic and incredibly friendly team! Highly recommended!

While strolling in Fontainebleau we found this pleasant restaurant. With impeccable, smiling service and excellent cuisine, the missing star is more for the wait; the service was very long, which prevented us from tasting the dessert which we were very keen to try.
