Le Grand Café sur Saint-Bon-Tarentaise

We have been advised to dine at Le Grand Cafe by some local friends. We had a fantastic experience. Cambodian food at its peak (no pun intended :-) The chef delivers exquisite meals, sophisticated but never over the top, delicious "saveurs" in smartly done original combinations of flavours. And last but not least, there is Maryline, the Maitre(sse) D' who is the most dynamic, welcoming, charming person one could expect to find in a restaurant. We had lots of fun and an terrific family time.

The food is generally very good. However, we ordered the banana leaf see bass, the texture of the meat was mushi which indicates not fresh. Other dishes like dim sum and carry chicken were well prepared. The atmosphere is very classic, and the service was very welcoming.

Super warm welcome from the waiters and the manager compared to other establishments in Courchevel. Very very very good chef, his cuisine is delicious and above all full of flavor. I will come back to Courchevel just for this restaurant!
