Le Grand Café sur Valence

A huge thank you to the team at Le Grand Café, especially to Ketisia and her husband Jordan, I believe. Despite the lunchtime rush, we received a very warm welcome with smiles and exceptional kindness. It makes you want to keep coming back. This lady is a rare gem. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Le Grand Café.

A delightful place to dine, both for the food and the service. We received a warm, friendly, and cheerful welcome despite the late hour and rainy weather. I highly recommend it.

We had a great meal, the waiter was very pleasant, and the location is beautiful, right in front of a fountain. I recommend this restaurant.

We went for dinner Wednesday evening with a reservation. Our first experience had been great! Unfortunately, this last one was dreadful! My two friends were delighted with their seafood salad, but I had chosen a vegetarian dish with seasonal vegetables. The waiter, who was pleasant during our aperitif, got my order wrong and brought me a vegetarian burger... after a remark with a complete lack of respect, he brought me the correct dish! Seasonal vegetables: potatoes and carrots! They could have done better, especially considering the other dishes were served with snow peas and garden peas... When it came time to pay, the waiter made another very inappropriate comment about my age. Absolutely no respect. This man should change careers and work at the market! Otherwise, overall, a good restaurant.

A really lovely spot facing the fountain, the mixed platter was great and the cocktails were delicious and beautifully presented! Thanks to the waiter and waitress who were so pleasant, smiling, and kind, and especially thanks to Jeff for the complimentary digestif which was excellent!

I had lunch at this bistro this Monday. Apparently, they had the new menu. We met our waitress, Ketisia, who is so kind, smiling, and lovely. I loved my first visit to this bistro. We're new to Valence, and we'll definitely be back. Thanks again for the service, Ketisia, and congratulations to the chef!

As longtime customers, we loved coming every year for our daughter's birthday. But tonight, despite the food being as good as ever, the celebration wasn't there. There was a long wait for dessert, the waiter kept forgetting things, and the menu was rather limited (due to a change of ownership). We were very disappointed, which is a shame because we really enjoy this restaurant (we came two weeks ago and had no problems at all). Unfortunately, we'll celebrate this year's birthday elsewhere because the wait was just as long last year.

Best spot in Valence and my favorite place. The food is amazing, the view overlooking the entire square opposite the fountain is magnificent, the atmosphere is friendly and very pleasant, and above all, the team is very efficient, professional, and incredibly friendly (Alex, Daizy, Keatitia, Jeff, and everyone else without exception). I highly recommend it.

Hello, I'm really very disappointed with some of the waitresses who feel entitled to talk about the customers... The Grand Café would do better to implement training for its waitresses; some of them are very aggressive and critical. As for the food itself, there's nothing to complain about, really just two people who are a bad influence on the establishment. 🙏
