Le Grand Gousier sur Bordeaux

We arrived well after check-in and our room was not ready, so Maya who is simply wonderful provided us with free drinks at the bar, then upgraded our room once it became obvious it would not be ready. Despite a pretty bad hick-up that left a pretty bad taste in our mouth, Maya simply went above and beyond, even taking the time to write up some great suggestions for places to stay and check out on our road trip. Very much appreciated! After some reflection I adjusted my review, and added a few stars. This is really a very nice hotel, and it could not be more centrally located, especially for a visit to the Christmas Market

Problem with the rooftop in the middle of the afternoon. Obliged to ask for the card! After 30 minutes without seeing anyone we left! We did, however, enjoy a beautiful view! Free! Really not up to the standard displayed

A real bubble of luxury in the heart of Bordeaux. The furniture and dimensions are those of a palace, despite the decoration being a bit dated for our taste. The rooftop and the indoor swimming pool are real experiences. The only downside to the stay was that the breakfast lady created real discomfort by continually insulting her young colleagues. Behavior not representative of an otherwise excellent service.

We stayed 5 nights at this beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff welcomed us with the utmost hospitality. We especially want to thank Anastasia, Leandre, Jen, and the chef who made our omelettes each morning for starting every day with a smile. We also appreciated the full gym facility, the spa area, the rooftop bar and the main restaurant. Everything was exceptional. Thanks to Hugo for helping us with our car and bags and George and the young lady at concierge who arranged two fabulous private wine tastings. Thanks also to the housekeeping staff who kept our room meticulously clean during our stay. We especially enjoyed the treats left in the evening during turn down service. It’s always fun to come home to something sweet. It was our first time visiting Bordeaux and your entire staff made it so memorable. If we ever pass this way again we will definitely stay here! Great location, great food, great people….perfection!

The rooftop bar was a great experience. Waiter Tarik was on point. Stunning views. It's worth the wait to the top floor.

I have not been to this hotel, but I visited the place where it is located. Right across the street from the beautiful theater. The square is magnificent and you can reach St Catherine Street which is full of everything......

Very much enjoyed staying here. The service was incredible and I truly enjoyed the personal touches. All of the staff were so friendly and eager to make our stay as seamless as possible. The location is very central and close to many shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here to experience a fabulous visit to Bordeaux

This hotel is exceptional! The frame as well. Located in the golden triangle of Bordeaux the hotel is surrounded by all the best places in the city. The hotel employees are great in all trades. Resident or not, you can enjoy the restaurants, breakfast, or even the bar. The InterContinental Bordeaux was voted best hotel in France in 2018. I would particularly like to thank the short-haired lady with a slight foreign accent who takes care of the breakfast service for her kindness during my visit on Wednesday morning.
