We came as a family for lunch, without a reservation, and were greeted with a smile! 😊
We had a fantastic meal, the service was truly excellent, and the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed it so much that we even came back on our way back from our hike to the waterfall to enjoy a delicious smoothie! 🥤😍

We took advantage of our visit to stop for a drink. We repeatedly heard the manager berating the servers in an unpleasant tone from the kitchen. The servers themselves were very friendly and provided excellent service despite the busy atmosphere. This is not how a team should be managed. The end of the afternoon service should be overseen by the manager, not her staff; however, we heard her shout several times that it was unacceptable to still be serving waffles after closing time.

This restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. The welcome and service were delightful. You can feel (and even taste) the great care taken in preparing the dishes: everything was delicious! A special mention goes to the children's menu, whose quality rivaled that of the other dishes (it's the one pictured with the chicken).

A wonderful discovery in Baume-les-Messieurs! We visited Le Grand Jardin two days in a row to enjoy their homemade ice cream, and we were delighted.
Special mention goes to the young waiter, who was very attentive, pleasant, and truly professional. The excellent service was something we wanted to highlight.
We didn't try the restaurant, but for an ice cream break, it's a place we highly recommend!

The food was excellent, and the service was decent despite a misunderstanding about some dishes. Be sure to book well in advance, otherwise you won't get a table. The decor is a bit kitschy, and the terrace is right next to the road. At least it's air-conditioned inside.
