Discovered thanks to friends who had chosen "Le Grand Monarque" to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary... we had a memorable weekend! The welcome was warm, Frantz Joseph's cuisine fresh and inventive, our room comfortable—everything was perfect. Simply genuine and human, please don't change a thing! THANK YOU 🌻

The welcome was extraordinary; the owners were really friendly and business-minded. The place was full of life and had a great, old-fashioned atmosphere. The food was very good, using local and seasonal produce. We had a wonderful time there.

We eat at this excellent bistro restaurant quite often... We recommend it... frankly, there's not much to complain about... From the service... to the food... wonderful... A big thank you to the entire team at Le Grand Monarque in Donzy and congratulations to its chef, Frantz.

I'll only talk about the restaurant, as I didn't stay in a room at this establishment... Creole cuisine is available upon request, perfectly prepared and excellent! The staff is attentive and very pleasant. A very pleasant evening with the family.

Very pretty exterior, but I didn't stop.

This hotel is France at its finest: authentic, old, charming, and incredibly romantic. From the very first moment, we felt welcome thanks to the warm and personal welcome. The bed was fantastic, and the room was equipped with a kettle with tea and coffee, a nice bonus. The restaurant was an absolute surprise: we had a truly excellent meal. When I forgot my toothbrush, the extremely friendly host immediately arranged a new one and extra toiletries. Such thoughtfulness and hospitality are rare.

Exquisite and delicious cuisine. We came as a family and received a superb welcome. A fantastic Christmas menu, New Year's Eve celebrations that lasted until the early hours, and a beautifully renovated theater. I highly recommend it.
