Le Grand Pont sur Joinville

14/06/2024: The 5 stars are for the price to quality ratio. For 28,50€ an excellent 3 course menu. I don’t understand how they can do it for that price - in our country (NL) it’s simply impossible. Also the price of the wines is very acceptable. Many bottles to chose from, including some 10 half bottles. The menu includes 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts to choose from. All fresh and well prepared. Only the vegetable risotto could have contained some more veggies. For dessert I choose the cheese platter (no extra price!) : 3 perfectly ripe local cheeses to enjoy. We only visited the restaurant, but not the hotel. The next time its likely that we stay in the hotel, specially in the weekend. Then they have a gourmand diner for 45€ with foie gras, seafood and the like. Looking forward to that.
