Fantastic time at the open sea!
The view from the terrace is incredible, right by the sea.

If you're passing through the area and looking for a place to eat, Le Grand Large is the place to go. It's friendly, has a great atmosphere, a lovely view, and serves incredible mussels at prices lower than its competitors. The tomato gazpacho with pesto, accompanied by fresh burrata, is a must-try. You can go without hesitation! 👌

Seashells on the beach at La Ciotat? Come to Le Grand Large! Great atmosphere, delicious food, and a view of the sea! The service was okay. The girls who carried drinks and food between the restaurant and the terrace were especially efficient and quick.

There were five of us. The atmosphere was good, the service was friendly, the view was beautiful, but we were disappointed by the ribeye steak. The quality wasn't there: the person who ordered it left a good half of it, and for dessert, a chestnut cream crepe with just a thin coating left us ending on a bad note.

The servers were welcoming, but the wait was very long. We waited 45 minutes to have our plates cleared, then another 45 minutes for dessert because they had forgotten to take our order while the servers were just sitting around doing nothing or smoking. So I don't recommend it.

Excellent restaurant with a seaside terrace offering stunning views of the magnificent bay of La Ciotat. The welcome is warm, the food is excellent, and the service impeccable. I highly recommend this establishment.
