Good food, fresh meat. French atmosphere. A little bit nonchalant

The person with long hair is extremely rude; if they want to chat with their friends, they'd be better off going to the other side of the counter! They just toss tickets at customers, don't understand anything, and can't even follow a table! When you talk to them, they couldn't care less because they're still chatting with their friends! I'm giving it 3 stars so as not to blame the rest of the team who are trying to cover up the other person's mistakes.

We decided to have lunch at "Le Gros Caillou" today because we've stopped there three times after skiing for a drink. The welcome was excellent each time, and all six dishes we enjoyed were delicious. We had a very pleasant time in every way. I highly recommend it.

A rather quirky welcome with large tables both inside and out. An extensive menu featuring daily specials that change frequently. The service was quite efficient and cheerful. The main courses were reasonably sized, and the desserts were adequate. Unfortunately, there were many smokers around us, including most of the staff, as the terrace is relatively small. It's worth noting that the main courses and desserts were always very well presented, and the restrooms were well-organized and clean.

The waiter was friendly, but unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy his company much because of a woman's constant smoking. Aside from that, the price is quite high, but the food is excellent (well worth the price). Don't hesitate, I highly recommend it!

A must-book restaurant if you're vacationing in St-Sorlaint. The guys are super friendly and the food is heartwarming. Everything you could want from a good, welcoming mountain restaurant. You'll leave feeling great and with a huge smile on your face.

A fantastic welcome and the dining room was rearranged to accommodate the four of us around a raclette that we couldn't finish. A warm atmosphere with two excellent servers and a generous owner whom we thank.

A great place to eat traditional dishes. We had a wonderful meal. The waiter was the only one serving, but he was very friendly, smiling, and pleasant. The chalet is cozy and has a family atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

In addition to being an excellent restaurant, Le Gros Caillou is a friendly place. Thanks to its cheerful staff, you'll easily strike up conversations with your table neighbors. While the servers are certainly part of the lunch experience, it's the whole mountain atmosphere that we love. The mountain dishes are excellent, with daily specials that truly reflect the region. We had a guest with an almond allergy who had forgotten to mention it; their dish was sent back and remade with a smile, without any fuss. Special mention goes to the complimentary digestif offered by the restaurant and shared with the staff, especially Lionel, which allowed us to head back to the slopes feeling more than relaxed.
