Simple but good and hearty dishes. The owner is friendly and approachable.

A very warm welcome in the evening and an exceptional fondue, though the portion was a little small. The homemade dessert was perfect, and the staff were very helpful and lovely with children.

Great restaurant! The people are incredibly friendly and the food is delicious and plentiful! A perfect place for a quick break or a more substantial meal!

Always the same, same color, same quality...my first meals and drinks 58/57 years ago. And still just as good. My ski instructor was Claude Chex.

Good food, fresh meat. French atmosphere. A little bit nonchalant

The person with long hair is extremely rude; if they want to chat with their friends, they'd be better off going to the other side of the counter! They just toss tickets at customers, don't understand anything, and can't even follow a table! When you talk to them, they couldn't care less because they're still chatting with their friends! I'm giving it 3 stars so as not to blame the rest of the team who are trying to cover up the other person's mistakes.

We decided to have lunch at "Le Gros Caillou" today because we've stopped there three times after skiing for a drink. The welcome was excellent each time, and all six dishes we enjoyed were delicious. We had a very pleasant time in every way. I highly recommend it.

The waiter was friendly, but unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy his company much because of a woman's constant smoking. Aside from that, the price is quite high, but the food is excellent (well worth the price). Don't hesitate, I highly recommend it!

A rather quirky welcome with large tables both inside and out. An extensive menu featuring daily specials that change frequently. The service was quite efficient and cheerful. The main courses were reasonably sized, and the desserts were adequate. Unfortunately, there were many smokers around us, including most of the staff, as the terrace is relatively small. It's worth noting that the main courses and desserts were always very well presented, and the restrooms were well-organized and clean.

Restaurant for lunch and dinner with delicious French cuisine and a sunny terrace. Highly recommended.
