We stayed here during a long cycling tour (UK-France-Germany-Switzerland). A good and reasonably priced hotel. The price and quality are well-matched. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is generally good. It's a shame the plate of pasta wasn't hot as advertised, and therefore neither were the noodles on top. ;-)

My comment concerns the restaurant. The gravlax salmon from the Valentine's Day menu (I don't remember the sauce it came with) was delicious; I dream about it at night. Feel free to deliver 2 kg of it directly to my home if you have any extra. Have a good day!

09/08/2026: We stopped by chance on our way home, after visiting Mayenne and on our way back to Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët. The welcome was warm and the food delicious: we enjoyed snails in garlic butter and bouchot mussels, which were exceptional. 26/07/2026: A very pleasant break three days ago during our sightseeing! We received a warm welcome from Isabelle and Julien. The setting is beautiful. The dishes we ate were delicious, high-quality, and generous. There were two of us, and we shared several dishes: Maroilles cheese gratin, shrimp croquettes, Welsh rarebit, steak tartare, and a meringue/chantilly cream/chocolate dessert, all homemade. We highly recommend this establishment. Come and taste this typical Northern French cuisine; you won't be disappointed.
