Le Haras - Renaissance Paris Hippodrome de St. Cloud sur Rueil-Malmaison

Ok hotel that just happens to be in a nice area with confused staff. It is housed near a country club, which means it is in a beautiful and safe area, but it is far from most public transport options to Paris and does not live up to its own standard. To drive to Paris and hunt for parking is about a 20-30 minute drive, but taking a bus/train makes it an hour+ to the city. Either way, you devote over an hour to travel. The breakfast is nice with plenty of options but quite expensive for what you get. We paid €60 each morning for my wife and I to essentially have all you can eat access to granola, fruit, yogurt, breads, coffee, and some eggs and sausage... a steep price for these options in my opinion. Though, they will make an omelette for you upon request at no extra charge which is nice. The staff seemed confused with breakfast, too. Upon check-in, I was told breakfast was included, but the following morning I was told they would charge it to my room. The following day, I was told you cannot charge it to your room and had to pay by card. The following day, I was told breakfast was included, so I did not pay. Then, the last day, I was told it was not included nor could I charge it to my room and had to pay by card. Each of these involved the same people on staff, so I am not sure from where the confusion comes. In the end, at checkout, I did pay for all breakfasts including the one successfully charged to my room.

Excellent location, room confort and services. Located just next to the Paris country club golf club and St. Cloud . Special thanks to Mr Younes from the restaurant, He was amazing professional and helpful with outstanding service.

Interesting hotel, a little out of the way but quiet, and a supermarket a 5-minute walk away. Good breakfast.
