Lunch today on the terrace: the daily special, a Black Angus fillet with gratin and salad. A homemade and excellent dish for €21 – very good value. The staff is very professional.

We booked through The Fork, and everything went very smoothly. We had a great meal; the ribeye steak was excellent. The veal Milanese was a little tough because it had been precooked at lunchtime, but it was still good, and the dessert made up for it! The service was very good. The place is a bit noisy, but we sat in the back room, and it was perfect.

We came for lunch for two. We opted for a Caesar salad and flank steak with shallot sauce. The flank steak was well-cooked and very tender. I asked for vegetables instead of fries, and they were granted. However, I found the portion light, especially since they were quite good. Special mention goes to the shallot sauce, which was succulent and generous. The Caesar salad was classic, but with a good amount of sauce and quite good. The service was a little slow but pleasant.

Clocher du Village

25/02/2026: A very enjoyable time was had at Le Clocher du Village. The cuisine is traditional French, the menu is appealing, and the portions are generous and hearty, perfectly in keeping with the atmosphere. The ambiance is convivial, typical of a Parisian bistro as we love them. Starters and desserts are offered at affordable prices, allowing you to indulge yourself to your heart's content. My only slight criticism, and this is very personal: my steak tartare and fries were good and plentiful, but presented very simply, perhaps too simply. Nothing major, just a personal observation. Aside from that, the service was excellent, efficient, and pleasant. A delightful time spent with friends.
18/02/2026: The cote de beuf was extraordinary. The house wine just ideal for the meat at hand. Bravo!
