James Joyce is practically my second home! I love hanging out with my college friends after class. Special shout-out to Florentin, who's a gem at serving us and making sure we have a great time!!

A wide range of beers at very reasonable prices. The place is also very pleasant.

You were waiting for it; my visit to Angers was noticed, and my review was long-awaited. I spent a pleasant weekend with my two colleagues, where I was able to discover some wonderful places, starting with JJ! First of all, I'm a big beer lover, and the beer list is long and varied. I personally have a great love for La Paix Dieu, but unfortunately, it's like women (I drink two, not three). I went there Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. On Sunday and Monday, two men were working (extremely well). I don't have their first names, but I want to congratulate them for their kindness and courtesy. The only slight negative (about the entire bar) was that I found it took a while to get served, but I'm taking into account that there were a lot of us there on Sunday, and only two people were working. The staff was top-notch! I loved the bar's decor, the terrace, and the restrooms. I also loved the darts, where I completely demolished my two colleagues... the poor things... they're so mean and pathetic... Honestly, it's a must-see place, and I'm actually jealous that my town doesn't have such a great pub! Yours faithfully,

The atmosphere is so good that it's becoming unbearable for local residents. When will the terrace be partitioned off?

Very nice atmosphere. Some cocktails are not available at the downstairs bar (I admit it's a bit annoying). It's VERY busy on Thursdays (normal, eh). Special mention to the restrooms which are very spacious and have nice big mirrors.
