Stale brioche: We dined this evening at Jardin Bellevue, a restaurant recommended by the Michelin Guide. Unfortunately, our foie gras was served with a brioche that was clearly stale. After reporting the problem and returning the brioche, we received neither a response nor an apology. When a restaurant advertises itself with a newspaper article praising its supposedly excellent brioche, this kind of situation is unacceptable. A bad experience and deplorable handling of criticism. We will not return and certainly will not recommend this restaurant. As we were leaving, we were even asked if we had paid. Staff training would be welcome.

I'm giving it 5 stars for the ambiance, as it's a fine-dining restaurant characterized by a certain calm, which some might call "cold," but which is essential in an establishment of this caliber. Special mention goes to the beautiful statue that greets guests in the restrooms.
