Nice discovery of a restaurant where the food is good made with good products (not frozen reheated like with some). The waitress was smiling, pleasant, attentive and warm. I emphasize this because this is not always the case. The setting and atmosphere was pleasant, located on the side of the historic center so without the crowds and noise if you are looking for a quiet atmosphere

We had super tasty mussels, both the plain ones and the ones with cream were absolutely fantastic. The lemon ice cream was also very good. The service was super nice and very attentive. Price and performance absolutely match here.

We thought we’d give this one a shot after reading some of the positive reviews. Her Ladyship and I always prefer to find eateries which are frequented by the locals rather than the usual touristy gaffes along the sea front as tempting as they are (but that is their raison d’être is it not?). Honfleur is very pretty there’s no doubt but around the inner harbour, many touristy eateries abound. We had a good look round then found this little place off the main drag which was a wise choice! The first thing that struck me was the warm welcome we received from Mme. when we rocked up a little early for our booking for an apéritif. Such a warm smile throughout our meal was most welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The food was simple but excellent - a pâté de campagne for us both followed by Moules Normande (with cream and cider) with the most plumptious mussels I’ve ever seen. The dessert we shared between us as it was bloody enormous! We had a caramel Liégeois which at €14 may seem steep to some until you see the size of the thing! Definitely best shared “entre deux”. I also had the chance to chat with a local gentleman (who was celebrating his 73rd birthday,) and his compatriots. He and his sons were fishermen and sad to say that Brussels seems to be clobbering the French fishing fleet with quotas and limitations as much as they did with us Brits. I’d like to thank Mme. and the locals for such a friendly welcome, (especially for someone with such abominable French!) and for such a convivial evening in one of the jewels of Normandy. Superbe!!

Wonderful food, service and ambiance! We had the shrimp appetizer then shared a salade de campagne and melted Camembert with charcuterie, salad and fries. It was delicious! Our server was attentive and lovely and so was the owner. We would absolutely go back!
