Excellent restaurant in the old port of Bastia. Ideal location, fresh and flavorful meals, super-friendly owner and waiters, and reasonable prices. In short, don't hesitate to come and treat yourself to a bit of Corsican (or rather, corsair) air at Jean Bart! Thanks again to the entire team for a delicious evening :)

Lovely lunch consisting of mussels/fries and prawns and Thai sauce. We shared the dishes. Great service, friendly and swift in a beautiful setting.

Six of us had dinner at Le Jean Bart. The mussels were delicious. The sea bream was delicious. The kitchen even divided and filleted the sea bream, so two women could share a delicious meal. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back!

10/07/2025: A very friendly young man served us, fulfilled our every need, and even gave us a travel tip for the island. The food and dessert were great. Not a huge selection, but plentiful and delicious.
23/06/2025: Our first time in Bastia and we found it quite difficult to find somewhere that served dinner before 7pm. Luckily the maps app provided some suggestions and the Met restaurant was just across the street from our hotel. We both decided on the lasagne and a cold beer and it was perfect for our last night in Corsica. The staff were lovely and the people watching was fun.
