04/08/2026: Avoid at all costs! A tout who pretends to be interested in you, but once seated, she goes back to accosting other passersby and ignores you the entire time. The food was disgusting. I left my plate full; it was impossible to eat, and they didn't ask any questions or offer anything in return. Shocking! 😱 She sells you a dream of homemade food, but it's nothing of the sort. Never again! 👎

04/08/2026: I never leave reviews, but this time the behavior and the way we were treated compelled me to do so. A woman strongly encouraged us to come, talking about homemade and "divinely delicious" dishes. Once seated... she completely lost interest; she was too busy touting passersby. My husband and daughter ordered calamari à la bastiaise, which was so bad they barely ate anything, and even I, who am not usually a picky eater, couldn't finish it. I tried drowning the calamari in lemon, but it was no use; it was truly disgusting. I mentioned it to the waitress, and since they hadn't eaten anything, I asked if it would be possible to have a small portion of fries to compensate, so they would have something in their stomachs. She hesitated, agreed, but the fries were ultimately charged. Only the grilled langoustines that I ordered were good. We were lured in by a sales pitch that didn't match the experience at all. It was disappointing and we won't be back.

07/07/2026: A tiny restaurant with a very friendly owner. The food is good, with a focus on local products, and the prices are reasonable. The wine adds to the bill. Water is served by the carafe without any problems.

06/07/2026: A homey atmosphere; if you want to taste authentic Corsican flavors, this is the place to be. Kindness, helpfulness, and hospitality. The owner is extremely kind and goes out of his way to explain the products he serves and prepares himself, both cured meats and cheeses. Highly recommended.

04/07/2026: A delightful experience at Nova restaurant! The manager is very friendly and professional. The food is delicious, with a special mention for the perfectly seasoned beef tartare 😋. A feast of exceptional flavors from appetizer to dessert. A must-try restaurant in Bastia. Bravo!

21/07/2026: We ate pizza here twice and they were excellent. Good dough, perfect texture (not a thick American-style base), tasty toppings, and a warm welcome. There were quite a few of us and it was hot outside (inside there's air conditioning!). The best pizza in Bastia!

14/06/2026: We had a wonderful time at Béa and José's table. José's cooking was superb, very generous, and Béa served us with a little story for each dish. We had a great laugh!

The view, the service, the food, the atmosphere—everything on this rooftop terrace is wonderful! 16/07/2026: We came to eat on the evening of July 14th by chance, as we were passing by. We received a very warm welcome. The meal was excellent and the value for money was perfect! The two waiters were incredibly attentive and exceptionally kind! We will gladly return to this establishment. Thank you for this wonderful experience, the table of four Belgians :)

28/07/2026: Superb spot, hidden from passersby and prying eyes. The waiter and waitress were very pleasant, with soft background music and a pavlova for dessert that was absolutely divine. I highly recommend it.

02/07/2026: What a disappointment! After having lunch there four times in the last two years during our visits to Bastia, we really didn't enjoy our meals. We were so looking forward to lunch there. What has happened since last October? Change of ownership? In short, we won't be going back!

30/06/2026: The service was incredibly friendly. We were allowed to take shelter with our dog during a thunderstorm and, even though they weren't open yet, they served us delicious coffee and water. We only paid €6 for this, and of course, we left a tip. Unfortunately, we couldn't stay for a meal because our shuttle bus was scheduled to leave. We'll definitely eat there on our next visit to Bastia. We're already looking forward to it.

17/06/2026: We needed a hotel in Bastia at short notice and were traveling as a couple with our bicycles. Storing the bikes was completely hassle-free and very straightforward. All the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and accommodating. We particularly remember the breakfast: it was delicious, varied, and we really enjoyed it. On our cycling tour through Corsica, this breakfast was definitely one of our top three. Overall, a very pleasant stay that we would gladly recommend.

16/06/2026: No food available except for a basic snack in the room, which wasn't not large enough to swing a cat in. No cook was eventually the excuse. Maybe the smug manager and rude receptionist could doubled up. It certainlyvis what I was expected to do back in the day. In addition, not enough staff to keep breakfast flowing. Constantly having to wait for bread that was being baked, cheese not replenished. The "hot" dishes (scrambled egg and cremated bacon) were everything but. Wouldn't go back.

06/07/2026: We have been in Bastia for a week and , typically, we ate in this restaurant on the last night. My wife and I both had the set menu, approx 27€, and between us we had all 6 items on it. I could not fault the octopus salad or risotto and my wife was amazed at the size of the lamb shank that was served. All three courses were excellent and the service was very good. To get the food that we had, a glass of wine, a pastis and water with what appeared to be a continuous supply of fresh bread for 65€ was incredible. We have had individual courses over the week that have been very good, but for the whole meal, this was the best and i would wholeheartedly recommend it.

02/07/2026: Very welcoming and spacious restaurant. Very good food; we recommend the carbonara and the spider crab linguine. Prices are moderate. The staff are very friendly and professional. This experience is also recommended for families with children.
