Review of our stay 1 - The accommodation We have no complaints about the accommodation. The cleanliness was impeccable and the quality of the bedding was very satisfactory. We particularly appreciated the overall comfort of the apartment, which perfectly met our expectations. On this point, the establishment truly lives up to expectations. 2 - The staff The hotel staff were exemplary throughout our stay. Always attentive, smiling, and very professional, they responded to our requests efficiently and kindly. This aspect is, in our opinion, impeccable and deserves to be highlighted. 3 - Ski equipment rental On the other hand, the equipment rental is the establishment's weak point. The opening hours are inconvenient, especially the closure from 12 pm to 4 pm, which complicates the organization of ski days. We also encountered a problem with the ski boots provided: they were two sizes too small, making them unusable. This mistake caused us to miss a ski lesson. Furthermore, the rental staff were unhelpful, refusing to acknowledge the error and adopting a rather cold attitude.

The hotel is located about a 10-minute walk from the town center, and next to the ski-in/ski-out slopes. We booked a room for 4, we got a spacious duplex with a fully equipped kitchen, living room and dining table. The wardrobe in the room is small and not suitable for two guests. The room was not clean, some of the linens were not clean, and the floor was not washed during the entire week we were at the hotel. The carpets in the hallways were not cleaned regularly. The breakfast was good, the pastries were fresh, but it was not possible to order omelets, and it took a long time for the buffet to be filled, especially with the hot dishes. The pool is small and located near the lobby. The spa is small and crowded and you need to reserve a time in advance to visit the place.

Top-quality hotel in Val Thorens. Prices reflect location.

Beautiful hotel located on the slopes just outside the center of Val Thorens. It's literally a ski-in, ski-out hotel at the foot of the Cairn lift. We had a two-bedroom apartment with a living room and kitchen. A little dated, but certainly adequate. There's a ski room for storing equipment. A parking garage with electric car charging facilities. The sauna is a bit small for the size of the hotel. Reservations are required in advance, which limits the number of guests allowed. The swimming pool is a real plus for the hotel. Plenty of restaurants and shops are within walking distance. We enjoyed a varied breakfast every morning.

Second time staying here, and we’ll be back. Staff are attentive and will go above and beyond. The hotel is the right level of luxury without being taken over by entitled plonks. The ski in / out is superb, but do plan your last run of the day else you’ll need a little walk back. It is on the edge of town, which will be perfect for most, but does mean a short walk when you’re heading out to bars and shops.

Perfect hotel, friendly staff, clean, organized. We had an amazing stay. Very recommended.

5 adults + dog January 2018 in a 2-bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the living room - laundry was manageable (no other apartment was available at the time). January 2026 in a 3-bedroom apartment (also with a sofa bed in the living room) = highly recommended! Staff changed - everyone was super friendly! Delicious bread service for breakfast (order before 8 p.m. = fresh bread delivered to your door in the morning) All facilities available, including a cozy outdoor terrace by the slopes. Ski in/out - probably a bit too challenging for true beginners (especially downhill from the hotel). Definitely worth repeating - thanks a million! 👍
