Le Kat sur Aurillac

"Le Kat" is the perfect example of a friendly restaurant where you immediately feel at ease. The atmosphere is relaxed, ideal for groups as well as quieter tables. Here, there's nothing pretentious: it's simple, authentic, and remarkably efficient. The cuisine showcases local Cantal products, with a special mention for the Salers beef, cooked to perfection and perfectly complemented. The dishes are generous, honest, and reflect a genuine respect for the local produce. The dining room is clean, functional, and designed so you can enjoy the moment without any fuss. It's a place you'll easily return to, precisely because it doesn't try to be anything other than what it is: a good, straightforward, and welcoming restaurant.

A wonderful discovery for us, having stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. The staff and owners were incredibly friendly. A welcoming restaurant with truly excellent food – a real gem in my opinion, and very reasonably priced. Since we were on foot, we treated ourselves to a small Mac Na Mara whisky – what a delight! A big thank you to the owner. Next time we're in Aurillac, we know where to eat. A must-try!

A very appealing daily menu with plenty of choice. Simple yet expertly prepared dishes. The price is more than reasonable, the owner is very friendly, as is the waitress. Very affordable wines. The menu seems adequate. In short, everything you need for a wonderful time.
