For the 3rd time we came to spend a great taste experience, always so surprising and delicious, a big thank you to the whole team.

A really special dining experience in Savoie, near Chambéry. This lovely restaurant is run by a husband-and-wife team, with a fine-dining approach that is both highly seasonal and wonderfully inventive. The “surprise” menu means each course is driven by what the chef can source at its best, resulting in a constantly evolving meal full of creativity, beautiful textures and really interesting flavour combinations. There’s also a very good wine list, with plenty to complement the food. Be prepared for a long evening, but in the best possible way — this is a place to slow down, relax and enjoy each course as it arrives. Service can be on the slower side, which is understandable given that it’s essentially just the two of them running the show, but it actually adds to the experience and gives you time to savour the food and conversation. A memorable meal and a great example of thoughtful, creative cooking. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something a little different in the Savoie region.
