For our first time, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The welcome was warm, the service impeccable and very friendly, and the meal excellent. The frog legs were perfect for us, and the dessert was delicious! We'll be back!

Peaceful setting on the shores of a small lake. Pleasant service. Quality ingredients and excellent cuisine. A fine wine list curated by experts. In short, a superb experience in a great restaurant. I highly recommend it.

No reservation required, but we enjoyed a meal on the terrace with excellent grilled octopus or frog legs. The service was friendly and efficient. With mountains as a backdrop, we took a leisurely stroll around the small St. André lake. A peaceful and idyllic setting during the week.

A wonderful discovery! I'm from the area, but closer to Le Bourget-du-Lac. The restaurant was full at lunchtime. The welcome was very pleasant. Thank you! The lunch menu was very reasonably priced: starter, main course, and dessert for €22. The terrace was lovely. It wasn't noisy at all, even though all the tables were occupied. Well done! The path around the lake has been improved compared to previous years (lol)... a great success. A really lovely time spent together. 👏👍

01/03/2026: Not too expensive to eat, but the origin of all the meats used in the preparations is not immediately obvious to consumers.
28/02/2026: We were passing through Porte-de-Savoie and ate at Le Gabelous. What a pleasant surprise! We ordered pizzas and thoroughly enjoyed them; they were absolutely delicious. The ingredients are high quality and the flavors are spot on. A big thank you to our very pleasant and smiling waitress, as well as to the equally welcoming manager. We highly recommend it and will gladly return! 🍕😊
