The best Indian restaurant I have eaten in (and I try a lot of them!). The sauces are delicious, spicy, generous, just like the cheese naans. A treat!

Krishna is for me THE BEST Indian restaurant in Montpellier. I have been a customer for over 20 years and I am still a fan. I have tried other Indian restaurants here and elsewhere and I have never found this perfect balance of flavors, spices, textures of the sauces and the quality of the products. Just the flavor of the rice here is incomparable! I have the opportunity to introduce this restaurant to friends who come from other cities and each time they agree, it's the best! And what about the generosity of the dishes, the value for money is unbeatable. Finally a restaurant where you can eat with your family and enjoy yourself without leaving an arm. Special mention for the welcome, the team is adorable whatever the crowd. In short, if you want to enjoy real Indian cuisine, in an exotic setting or to take home, this is the place to be!

Located in the peaceful Beaux-Arts district of Montpellier, this Indian restaurant offers a true culinary and visual immersion. Finding it was a bit of an adventure, because I first landed in front of the kebab version of the same name before finally finding the establishment I was looking for. As soon as you enter, the decor immediately transports you to India, with a warm and typical atmosphere that sets the mood. I started my meal with an essential classic: cheese naan. Since I discovered this marvel last year, it has become a must on every visit to an Indian restaurant. Accompanied by fried eggplant, everything was served with an assortment of sauces ranging from mild to spicy, which perfectly enhanced the flavors. For the main course, I opted for chicken curry, accompanied by very fine spiced rice. A real treat! And of course, it’s impossible not to order a second round of cheese naan to accompany this delicious curry. To end on a sweet note, I tried a tapioca-based dessert. The texture may surprise or even put off some people, but personally, I enjoyed it, especially since I was already familiar with this type of dessert thanks to a similar Vietnamese specialty. That said, my preference remains for the Vietnamese version with plantain, more delicious for my taste. This restaurant is undoubtedly one of the most authentic places to discover Indian cuisine in Montpellier. A great discovery, both for the richness of flavors and for the immersive atmosphere!
