LE KUBIX sur Aix-Les-Bains

It's impossible to pay in cash at this restaurant. It's outrageous and utterly ridiculous. The meal itself was good, but encountering a chef who refused to accept cash was truly disappointing.

A very nice, quiet restaurant with a beautiful view of the lake. Pleasant waiters, beautifully presented and well-prepared dishes, and perfectly balanced cocktails.

We had a delicious meal at Le Kubix. A tasty option for everyone. Good selection of drinks. The service, in particular, stands out! Incredibly friendly, fast, and personal. Definitely worth a repeat visit!

Overall, the portions were generous and the food was delicious. For the appetizer, I had the truite tartare, which was even better than I expected and I was satisfied. The only downside was that the dressing on the salad was a bit excessive. Also, the salad leaves were all so big that I had to cut them myself haha. Still, the truite itself was so tasty that I recommend it! For the main course, I had the Asperge risotto, and the combination of crispy jamón and perfectly cooked asparagus was fantastic. Honestly, it exceeded my expectations. I left some behind because the portions were large, but I think it offers pretty good value for money. I recommend it! The only slight downside is that the heat is no joke these days, and the plastic chairs seemed to absorb all that heat. So I was hot the whole time I was sitting there, and since the air conditioning wasn't working properly inside, I couldn't eat inside. The view is nice, so it's worth seeing, but...! It was hot..! ㅠㅠ

The dishes were very generous and truly delicious; no complaints about the food. However, the service disappointed us. The waiter's welcome was unpleasant, and when we pointed out that the price of the menu displayed on the chalkboard didn't match the price we were charged, he refused to acknowledge the mistake or try to find a solution. Fortunately, the manager intervened professionally and resolved the situation. It's a shame that the waiter's attitude marred what could have been an excellent experience.

Lovely terrace with a lake view. Friendly welcome and good service. Simple but decent dishes. Good value for money.

Overall, a very pleasant stay at the Aquakub. The hotel is ideally located, the rooms are very clean, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The indoor pool is a real bonus for relaxing after a day at the lake or in town. However, a few points could be improved. There was a slight odor in the bathroom during our stay. The air conditioning in the rooms is difficult to use, which can be bothersome in hot weather. Finally, the restaurant service seems disorganized despite the staff's friendliness. We specifically reported finding ants in the jam jars at breakfast, but there was no real improvement afterward. Despite these shortcomings, the overall experience remains positive.

I had a wonderful time at Le Kubix on the shores of Lake Bourget. The view is magnificent, the food delicious and beautifully prepared. Special mention to the waitresses, who were lovely and attentive from beginning to end. A fantastic place that I highly recommend!
