This Chinese restaurant is really delicious! It's not like other Chinese restaurants that are too oily and salty. This is the best food I've had during my 10-day trip to Europe. The owner is especially friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Eating at Lac de l’Ouest is like being part of a family meal: the welcome is warm, the food is delicious and plentiful, and you leave with the satisfaction of a job well done, even though you stayed seated. The menu is diverse enough that everyone can find something they like, though you might still be tempted to try everything. All the dishes are made fresh to order, served quickly with a smile, and in a relaxed atmosphere. We tried the wonton soup, whose broth is both light and flavorful, and the wontons are the biggest I've ever seen; the garlic and pepper pork is so fantastic you could get up in the middle of the night for it; and the pad thai is cooked to perfection. A successful experience that I hope to repeat soon.

Great find on Rue de la Harpe. The food is high quality and the portions are quite generous. We had both the red wine and the beer, and both were excellent choices. We opted for the 16.80 euro set menu, which was a fantastic value including an appetizer, main dish, and ice cream for dessert. To top it off, the owner is very sympathetic and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Very kind service, VERY delicious food!!! We went early on in our trip and want to go back before we’re gone because we want to try more of the menu and get the shrimp dumplings again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good and authentic Chinese food!
