Le Lavoir sur Siorac-De-Riberac

A wonderful restaurant we found on our holiday route: delicious smoked trout, excellent duck rillettes, roast black pudding… And above all, the service was very friendly, all in a lovely setting.

Beautiful, peaceful setting. Large terrace. We went for lunch; there was a choice of the daily menu or the "Petrocore" menu. Both were excellent. I personally chose the latter. The starter was local trout, the main course a hand-carved carpaccio of local meat—the best carpaccio I've ever had. Even the after-dinner drink was local! Thank you to the owner for explaining the dishes when we were served and also for his good humor. Even though it's a bit far for us, we'll be back.

A very warm, if somewhat quirky, welcome from the owner (for those who are angry, there's plenty of room at McDonald's). The waitress was very attentive, and the cook was excellent and always smiling. Fresh, local produce, well-prepared, and generous portions. Fair price. We'll be back to try the rare ribeye. Watch out for the baseball bat!

We had a lovely time at the wash house! The food, made with local produce, was excellent. The service was great, and we had a good laugh. The setting, with the church in the background, is beautiful. Don't hesitate to stop by.

Magnificent setting near a superb abbey, excellent cuisine, top value for money, generous portions, funny service, full of humor and life, open-minded and very welcoming owner, we will return with great pleasure.

Bikers on a ride, delighted to have booked a table at this little restaurant for our lunch break. The owner, with his great sense of humor, gave us a very warm welcome. The daily menu featured delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients, all very well prepared. We will definitely be back.
