I visited the Notre-Dame-du-Port Basilica in February 2026, and I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty and serenity of the place. The Romanesque architecture is remarkable, with magnificent sculpted details and a peaceful atmosphere that invites contemplation. Inside, the interplay of light and the elegant simplicity of the decor create a very soothing ambiance. You truly feel the weight of history and the spiritual significance of this monument. It's less touristy than other major sites, which allows you to fully enjoy the visit in peace and quiet. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates heritage and authentic places.
