Le LC2 sur Mulhouse

A great find with Alsatian and Mulhouse specialties like fleischschnaka, Ancre beer, gingerbread ice cream, and Alsatian plum sorbet. Pleasant terrace, tables with tablecloths, efficient and friendly service.

A 100% French brasserie. Friendly and professional staff. Average food (I had a cordon bleu, but it wasn't 100% satisfying). Average, even among my colleagues.

The menu looked appealing and the reviews were quite convincing, but ultimately we were disappointed 😞, perhaps the staff had an off day... We started with a mixed cheese and charcuterie board. The advertised products were only half served; the advertised aged Comté was just plain Emmental, the Bargkaas was a log of goat cheese 🐐, the terrine was nonexistent, and the same went for the sausage. (For your information, my wife works in a cheese shop.) In short, it would be better not to list the ingredients so you don't expect things you won't get. Our daughter's mussels 👧 were sandy, and the chicken cordon bleu was dry and tasteless. All these comments were, of course, reported, but without any response. I leave reviews for many establishments to ensure constructive criticism; I don't criticize for the sake of it, and I always express my dissatisfaction on-site. Ultimately, it was just an average establishment; we won't have fond memories of Mulhouse for its gastronomy.

Very simple and local but great for a quick meal.

I stumbled upon it while looking for a restaurant downtown that offered traditional cuisine, and I found just what I was looking for: a lovely restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, and a well-appointed interior. They offer a wide selection of Tarte Flambés and beers. It's also great for a drink or an evening aperitif. There was a bit of a wait for service, but it was worth it.

Excellent food, attentive staff, beautiful establishment, highly recommended

We came for the all-you-can-eat mussels, but it wasn't all-you-can-eat; quite a few dishes were missing from the menu, especially on the weekend. I was a bit shocked when the waitress opened my mussel dish to sniff around and see what it was 😅 The salmon and mussels were cold, making them difficult to eat, and the chocolate fondant was swimming in custard and, unfortunately, wasn't fudgy at all. It's a shame because the setting was nice, but we won't be back.

Impeccable service and excellent mussels; I highly recommend this place. The only downside if you come in winter: depending on where you sit, you might not have heating. Now I usually come here in the summer to eat!
