Le Logis Saint Martin Restaurant sur Saint-Maixent-L'Ecole

A lovely, welcoming hotel in a fabulous location. We had the nicest stay, the staff all make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. We walked into town for dinner on the boardwalk by the river which was beautiful, although the hotel does do drinks and a small menu in the evenings when they can. The pool is small but very welcome on a hot day in a small walled garden with loungers. There is also a pagoda to sit in in the garden with lovely views. Aurélie, Kate and Lauren are great, the rooms are spotless and have beautiful beams and furniture. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

The best part is the swimming pool even if it is not very large (max 4 people). The setting is pleasant, very quiet, the staff is friendly. Breakfast is good. The least concerns the old-fashioned rooms. Beautiful TV in the room. Bathroom small and not very well equipped: no shelf to put kit and products and nothing to hang towels?!? The services are not in line with the price 🫤

We only saw the exterior but it is very pretty on the banks of the Niortaise sevre, very flowery

Very nice place, very warm and friendly welcome, attentive staff for their customers, hearty breakfast, fresh produce and for the savory breakfast, they cook on site and are really excellent, served on a plate and really very good, we really appreciated the availability throughout throughout the day for a drink or any other request places exception very clean room with a very pleasant view very large bed slept very well I recommend this hotel with my husband to everyone we had a great time and we will hesitate not to come back on the contrary it will be with great pleasure thank you for everything.

Magnificent building in an idyllic setting on the banks of the Sèvre Niortaise, a former manor dating from the 17th century, it has stood the test of time to today become a magnificent hotel and semi-gastronomic restaurant, I highly recommend it

Excellent afternoon tea at the Hotel St Martin, the tea room and location are beautiful, food was excellent and the service was friendly and staff bilingual. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic accommodation. Very lovingly furnished and managed. Very comfortable beds. Perfect breakfast. Dinner available on request and lovingly prepared. I will certainly be back soon.
