Passing through Carcassonne, we wanted to grab a bite to eat before visiting the citadel. We found Le Lotus d'Or on Google and were honestly not disappointed. The service was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the owner was incredibly kind. We'll definitely be back.

03/07/2026: Wow. Superb bread from ancient breeds of wheat/other grains. All sourdough and the few that I have tried are beyond exquisite. Lovely people working there. Best bakery for many miles.
