Good morning,
There were 7 of us passing through Anges for a Rugby match, and we discovered Lucullus.
We were charmed by the welcome of the owners and by their bistro-style cuisine.
During our next visit to Angers, we will return there with great pleasure, and this time we will eat on the Gastro side.
We highly recommend the restaurant "Lucullus"
First of all, the place, a pretty vaulted cellar conducive to calm and a form of escape from the city. Then, few tables, a guarantee of avoiding the incessant and tiring hubbub found in other restaurants. Then very friendly service with very good waiters. And of course, the kitchen. Beautifully presented, sometimes with unexpected touches. Special dedication to the foie gras ravioli. The chef has cooked for the greatest but he doesn't flaunt it, a sign of quality, not to mention that the restaurant has existed for a long time, a sign of quality here again in the face of brands that waltz a little too much. Very nice experience in the end. At most, we could wish for a little more on the plates for certain dishes and desserts and a little more pronounced flavors sometimes (notably for the cointreau in the trilogy of desserts) but these tiny reserves should not hold us back from going there .
