Le Maghreb sur Cannes

Wow! Super delicious! We had to go back even though we were staying in Nice and again, it’s just… TRÈS BON!!! 🤤🤤🤤 Super thank you to the chef and wonderful staff who were happy to see us again - this place is easily HIGHLY recommended! 🧿 We had the chicken couscous the first time with an added portion of merguez, and the second time we had the chicken and lamb couscous - if you love lamb, you gotta try this! Fell off the bone! 🤤 Again, merci beaucoup Le Maghreb ❤️

Amazing Algerian food! The stew with the couscous is super flavourful, and the chicken, lamb and merguez are all equally great. Don't forget to ask for their spicy sauce on the side! We came back a second time all the way from Nice just to have their food one more time before we leave côte d'azur. Merci!

A true Cannes institution! Le Maghreb offers generous, authentic cuisine bursting with flavor. The couscous is simply excellent, made with quality ingredients and served in generous portions. A huge thank you to the owner and the entire team for their warm welcome and kindness. You immediately feel right at home. A must-visit for lovers of Algerian and North African cuisine. I highly recommend it and I'll definitely be back! 👏🇩🇿❤️

Friendly welcome, balanced meal, generous portion, attentive to the customer... there were 26 of us and we were going to a screening afterwards... the deadlines were met.

I hesitate to recommend Le Maghreb because it's a long-time favorite. As it's slightly off the beaten track, it's frequented largely by couples and families from the neighborhood - and for regular tourists who can't wait to come back to Cannes so they can enjoy the fabulous authentic fare and homey welcome. I've been eating here for years, as often as I can, and am always delighted and reassured by the unvariangly tasty, copious, authentic and reasonably-priced dishes - and the warm welcome extended to all. But please, don't tell anyone else. If word gets out, there'll be lines all the way down the street. PS You'll insist you're full - but it would be a mistake to pass up the wonderful deserts and a refreshing mint tea.

It was a very satisfying and delicious meal, with plenty of meat, making it suitable for meat lovers. While the staple food might not be suitable for everyone, it's worth trying.
